PC Fair bounty

My first blog posting !

What a wonderful day. Even though there's some slight drizzling around Klang Valley. That had not deterred me to go to KL :) This is because today was the last day for PC Fair held between 7-9th December. This will be the last PC Fair of the year. It was held in KL Convention Centre. It's just minutes away from the World Tallest Twin Tower.

As usual, all the hall was packed with people. Situation was almost like 'Pasar Malam'. Lots of offer for printer, notebooks, CD/DVD media, mp3 players etc. As my wife is now fully become homeowner now, she need a Multi Function Printer (MFP) printer for her needs. Managed to buy her a Samsung MFP SCX-5421-F which had a price tag of RM599. The original price was RM999. It comes with 3 years warranty. Product was made in China. It features copy, scan, fax and print. I'll probably post some review later if I've got the time. Look out for the review in the future.

Other product that I've purchased include DVD-RAM. The brand is Panasonic. I got it for RM30/5 pcs. That means RM6/pc. My friend who always purchase this media tell me the average price is RM8. I consider this as a good buy since this product is made in Japan and its coated with anti scratch material. It's capable of recording in 2X/3X depending on your DVD writer spec. You all might be wondering why you consider buying a DVD-RAM compares to DVD-RW that have higher burn speed and a cheaper media. You may find some info here

Finally, I've purchased a 25pcs cakebox of 16X DVD-R from Imation. Been using Imation media for the past few years and quite satisfied with the product. This time, we've managed to get it at RM19. That's RM 0.76/pc ! This product is made in Taiwan. Last time, I've even purchase it for RM 1.0X/pc. I guess the price is dropping once the demand is picking up. Wish that was happening for our petrol consumption. I guess that's just a fantasy.

That's all folks. Hopefully I'll blog more in the future. Until then adios... Live with passion and sense.
